Happy Egg Donor About Her Travel Egg Donation Program

This has been a life changing experience yet again “Becoming a donor for the 1st time was scary and exciting at the same time. I had done my research so I had an idea of what I was going to be doing , but you can’t know the full experience until you try it. My first time donating I had difficulty injecting myself lol but my Coordinator Junette helped me with videos all the way from Cape Town to Joburg because of my fear of needles ekkkkk , but I very quickly built a tolerance. I had hardly any symptoms at all and it really didn’t hurt like I thought it would. My first time at the clinic in Cambodia I was in aw of how beautiful it was and how friendly all of the staff was. Everyone was smiling and you could tell that they all loved their jobs, which was important to me as I was giving a big part of me to help other that cannot help themselves .. That gave me great pleasure 💗 💗 it was hard and nerve wrecking but the joy you feel when you see a positive sign on that pregnancy test 😍 😍 ..
I was also lucky enough to meet the intended parents which was one of the most memorable encounters of my life , seeing that look in their eyes knowing you are the one giving them a chance to have a baby brings me so much joy , When I saw them for the first time at the clinic , I was shaking with nerves and my mind was racing. I was scared they wouldn’t like me or I wouldn’t like them , when we met I could tell they felt the exact same way. They were so happy and excited , I had to hug them I almost cried . Right at that moment I knew this was going to be one of the most incredible things I’d ever done for the 4th time . We talked and laughed via a translate app on their iPhone 😅 😅 and it felt as if I had known them forever and we were just friends catching up. Meeting them and knowing how grateful they were just made the whole experience that much better.
The day of the actual harvest, I was once again terrified. Luckily my Coordinator Junette was with me so she helped calm me down. The procedure went very quickly and I woke up feeling fine. I had minor cramps and bloating but nothing horrendous. I rested for a short while and then was discharged , went back to the hotel and ate like queens , I spent the rest of the day resting at the pool and felt great the next day. Shortly after I returned home, I am so excited to hear if it was a success , I have now just finished my 1st cycle and everything went just as smoothly , Just knowing that I helped or at least tried to help someone start a family is worth it to me.
Overall, my experiences was wonderful. I absolutely love the staff and would definitely donate again. This has been a life changing experience and I wouldn’t change a single thing about it. I would recommend donating to anyone who is capable and willing because you are granting someone’s wish and creating a miracle, and that feeling is unbelievably satisfying.” – Testimonial from Jamie 🌸
